Piste Info

At 2 km from the La Pierre Saint-Martin resort, the Braca forest with its hilly environment is ideal for practicing cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. More than 20 km of marked out trails surrounded by Mugho pines forests and representing 11 loops.

Children

"les Oursons" day care (3 months to 5 years old).
Snow kindergarten (3 to 5 years old) to smoothly learn gliding with experienced instructors. The mini-club (6 to 12 years old) with a certified counsellor, workshops and activities from Monday to Friday during Christmas and February school holidays.


Other activities

Snowshoe outings with guide - Ski Joëring (ski pulled by horses) - dog sledge - mountain byke on snow - ski tandem - squash - table tennis - video library - handcraft exhibition - local product market.

December: Light celebration with Santa Claus.
January: Snowshoeing National Day, Nordic glides day, cross-country skiing by night.
February: Carnival; fireworks; torchlight parade; Clown show; Freestyle demonstration.
March : telemark day; 55th Pic d’Anie ski mountaineering trophy.

By road: A64 until the Salies de Béarn (coming from Bayonne) or Pau (coming from Toulouse) exit, then take the direction of Oloron Sainte Marie and Arette.
Train station: Oloron Sainte-Marie at 40 km and Pau at 70 km - bus shuttle from Oloron station, every week end during the winter season and every day during the school holidays (Christmas, February and Easter), leaving at 8.55 am and going back at 5.45 pm (one-way ticket 3 € from Oloron up to the resort).
Airport: Pau-Pyrénées at 75 km.
