A Nordic space in the Ax Valleys.
Between heaven and earth, the Beille plateau scrapes the summits. Skiing, snowshoeing or dogsledging, the pistes take you toward an unending horizon at the heart of the Ax Valleys, at only 90 minutes from Toulouse. When you arrive, everything is ready:  enjoy it as you like, from luge to skiing, from sledge to igloos, from Mongolian yurt to Nordic hiking.

Piste Info

 
For skiing, snowshoeing, Nordic hiking, sled... for each his own piste, 20 runs from 1 to 21 km, 1 sled area (new in 2011 a sled moving carpet), 1 alpine ski lift for juniors, 1 Nordic cross-country track, 1 kid's garden on the slopes, 1 biathlon area.
For every wishes : restaurants - heated picnic room - equipment renting - shop.
For a romantic or family escapade, a duo or a family pass give you the access to the ski domain.

Nordic pass : access to the trails and equipment rental 20 € / adult.
Nordic stay pass family (from 6 to 7 days) : 198 € (2 adults + 2 youths all inclusive).
Happy day : on Wednesdays (out of school holidays), you get half-price ! (Nordic pass : 5€ / adult).
Freedom pass (6 days non consecutives 50 € / adult)... skiing as you wish !
Free valley/resort shuttle when you buy a 6 or 7 days stay.

Handiski

For disabled persons : skiing lessons – equipment lending (luge and pulka) for skiing initiation – sled ride - easy access to heated picnic room – accommodation at 16 km.

Children

All the passes are free for children under 6 !
Day care in Les Cabannes (Tel.: 05 61 02 90 35).

Other activities

Visit of a farm in Verdun, spa fun center, cinéma, shows, casino and ice rink in
Ax les Thermes, cinéma and shows in Tarascon, thermal activities in Ussat-les-bains.

Main events

Every Sunday at 4pm, Nordic wine / hot chocolate...
December : 10-11th biathlon challenge national race. Santa Claus in sled.
January 30-31th 2012 : Pirena, international sled race.
The races for fun of Beille (every Saturday)
March 18th : the Transpyreneenne « a Nordic fair », a popular ski race counting for the Grand Prix challenge.

Access

4 car parks representing 800 parking spots.
2 winter caravanning parks , the nearest at 16 km.
By Road : Foix, Tarascon, les Cabannes, Plateau de Beille.
Railway station : Les Cabannes - shuttle Les Cabannes to Beille from december 15th  to march 30th  (school holidays and week ends).
Airport : Toulouse Blagnac.
