The nordic area of Hautacam is a perfect site to come and discover a unique panorama on the Pyrenees but also to discover news activities having fun. From this fabulous belvedere, you can take advantage of cross country skiing, skating, snowshoeing or dogs sled on 15 km of packed and secured trails.

Children

Free skiing for children under 6 years old. Blue and green pistes in a secured world where it is very easy to find your way and live your first skiing adventures. Adapted equipmnt rental to children (according to availability).

Other activities

- Mountain luge : situated at the beginning of the lifts, the Mountain luge is an innovate way to discover the ski slopes of hautacam in a playful way. In a 2 persons luge, you manage your downhill from 10 to 45 km/h braking to control your speed.
 (1 descent: 3,50€, then decreasing price).
- 2 panoramics restaurants at the foot of the pistes : le Huatacm and the Tramassel (solarium terrace).
- New : thermoludique center opening. With the "snow relaxation" pass, for 30 €, benefit from 2h of fitness adult in The Jardin des bains + one day skipass adult.

Main events

Every wednesday during februery holidays, the "children wednedsay" : the bear Baloucam go down in Moutain luge with the children. Entertainment and then torchlight parade (weather conditions).
February 5th : Snow trail.
February 17th and 25th : “Astronomy for all evening”  to discover the solar system. Sun observation from 4 pm, and then at 9,30 pm night sky observation : saturne, galaxies, nebula, star cluster...(weather conditions)

Access

2 car parks.
Winter caravaning park in the neighbourhood (valley).
By road : 15 min from Argelès-Gazost and 30 min from Lourdes.
Train station : Lourdes and shuttle to Argelès-Gazost.
Airport : Tarbes-Pyrenees at 30 km - Pau-Pyrenees at 60 km .
