The Nordic South at the very heart of the Catalonian Pyrenees Regional Park ... The Capcir high plateaus offer you 190 km of marked out trails. This area is labelled, with 13 marked out classic and skating trails and 5 Nordic paths, which will allow you to discover its forests and take a glimpse at its huge lakes nestled within a lively and preserved nature.
Nordic France labelled site (4 Nordic).

Piste Info

13 cross-country skiing loops, 8 marked out snowshoeing trails, 1 pedestrian trail, 1 sled dog trail and 5 Nordic trails (skiing, snowshoeing and pedestrian) - luge area - 2 E.S.F. ski schools - 2 refuges with warden at the heart of the pistes, reception bureau with snack-bar, heated picnic room and refreshment stall.

Fitted kindergarten on the cross-country trails, at the la Quillane / Calvet domain: games, luge, 2 day cares and 2 outdoor centres.

Sled dogs - downhill skiing resorts in the neighbourhood - Montlouis' solar furnace and city walls, Fontrabiouse grotto.

Main events

December, 22nd/23rd : New, the skiing festival (downhill, cross-country, surf ski... ) in La Quillane.
January, 3rd, February, 21st and 28th : Cross-country skiing by night for everyone in La Quillane.
January, 20th: the Capcir First boards (children) and the Capcir Grand prix (adults), two timed races.
February 10th: The Capcir crossing, going from Les Angles to La Quillane for 30 km, 15 km, 5 km and family race.
March, 24th: Snowshoe outing in La Lladure.

Road : from Perpignan, RN116 , 80 km - from Toulouse RN20 , 170 km - from carcassonne D118 , 90 km.
Railway station: Mont-Louis/La Cabanasse at 10 km - Shuttle at the arrival of main line trains to the villages.
Airport : Perpignan.
