Much more than a ski resort, Val Louron is the ideal place for the whole family to recharge their batteries, with in particular the most wonderful beginners' area in the Pyrenees, recommended for the little ones' first glides. To be also noted, panoramic pistes for the older ones, a vast choice of accommodation at the foot of the pistes, very nice prices and a lot of friendliness for everybody!

19 pistes including 6 green, 6 blue, 6 red, 1 black - 11 lifts - luge area - 46 snow guns - E.S.F. ski school - heated picnic room.
New in 2012 :  opening of the "forêt aux traces" (educational course to discover the mountain environment).

*Family : 2 adults + 2 children from 6 to 17.
Reduced prices from monday to friday out of school holidays : for example day adult, 15 €.

Snow kinds garden for children from 3 1/2 to 5 years 1/2 old and skier baby for children under 3 1/2, French ski school . Tel. : 05 62 99 66 41.

Other activities

Balnéa (at 8 km): hammam, Jacuzzi, spa, fitted out swimming pool... all the baths of the world in a magnificent surrounding around the Génos-Loudenvielle lake.
Mountain activities : snowshoe outings, hiking, paragliding. Cinema once a week during school holidays, theme evenings...

Main events

December 25th : Santa Claus arrival and fireworks.
And every Thursday evening during school holidays, torchlight parade for all organized by the ESF…

Access

2 car parks. Camping car terminal (water, electricity). Winter caravanning at 8 km.
Road : Highway exit n°16 in Lannemezan, towards Arreau. In Arreau on the left, towards the Col de Peyresourde (Peyresourde pass). 5 km after Bordères-Louron, take on the right the direction of Val Louron.
Train station: Lannemezan at 40 km.
