Much more than a ski resort, Val Louron is the ideal place for the whole family to recharge their batteries, with in particular the most wonderful beginners' area in the Pyrenees, recommended for the little ones' first glides. 18 pistes representing 22 marked out km including 5 green, 6 blue, 6 red, 1 black - 11 lifts - luge area - 35 snow guns - E.S.F. ski school - heated picnic room.
New in 2009: doubling of the artificial snow capacity + new ski lift special for beginners in the Lapadé sector.

*Family : 2 adults + 2 children from 6 to 17.

Day care at the Le Lustou residence at the foot of the pistes : Tel. : 05 62 99 68 64. Snow kindergarten for children from 4 to 6 years old and skiing babies for children under 4, French ski school . Tel. : 05 62 99 66 41.

Other activities

Balnéa (at 8 km): hammam, Jacuzzi, spa, fitted out swimming pool... all the baths in the world in a magnificent surrounding around the Génos-Loudenvielle lake. Mountain activities: snowshoe outings, hiking or paragliding. Cinema once a week during school holidays, theme evenings...

Main events

December 25th: Santa Claus and fireworks. And every Thursday evening during school holidays, a torchlight parade for all organized by the ESF…

Access

2 car parks. Winter caravanning at 8 km.
Road : Highway exit n°16 in Lannemezan, towards Arreau. In Arreau on the left, towards the Col de Peyresourde (Peyresourde pass). 5 km after Bordères-Louron, take on the right the direction of Val Louron.
Train station: Lannemezan at 40 km.
