In Piau, gliding is like playing ! Come and discover an exceptional play field, in a " high mountain " atmosphere, very close to Spain  and its "Ventas". Everything is meant for fun : the longest blue piste in the Pyrenees (7km), a new snow-park with a permanent  border-cross on the snow front, free-ride area for big sensations, snowshoe hiking in an unforgettable environment and unusual activities for trying, such as ice diving.

Snow kid's garden: at the foot of the pistes, welcomes children from 3 to 5 year old. Tel. 05 62 39 62 83.

The Maison de Titou : Day care in the middle of the resort at the foot of the pistes, welcomes children from 3 months to 5 year old inclusive. Health book and BCG Vaccine certificate required. Tel. 05 62 39 69 84.

Le Club des P'tits Fripons : Open during Christmas school holidays - New Year and Winter school holidays. Welcomes children from 6 to 12 years old, Monday to Friday.  Games - activities - shows. Tel. 05 62 39 61 69.

Snowshoe hiking with guide - ice cascade climbing - sled dogs in forests - ice diving - mountain skiing- first flight in paragliding.

Main events

December 5th and 6th: The Rock on Snowbard Tour, a concentration of snowboarders. 25 snowboard manufacturers invite you to test their equipment for free, just handing out an identity card. And you can also test bindings and boots. Many activities for all. Exhibition performances by the pro riders present at the event.
New: Jib and session on the guitar rail (a rail shaped like a guitar). Concert with a rock band chosen by Virgin.

On December 22nd and 29th, January 5th, February 9th, 16th, 23th and March 2nd: pedagogic activities around speed.
Objective: Making skiers conscious of the dangers of speed and of the required stopping distance.
Speed contest on the speed stadium, a secured site, with the help of the members of the resort ski patrol.
March 20th: 7th edition of the Pyrenees Derby, the biggest multi-glide event in the Pyrenees. An international gathering with 300 competitors in Skiing, Snowboarding, Telemark, monoskiing and Snowscooting expected. Activities all day long, with bandas, meal and concert.

April: Snowfutur: testing of the 2010 snowboard equipment; Pyrenex KID session; special activities, with free freestyle lessons for children under 15.
